The band is hunkered down in the super-secret Steel HQ, writing songs and tweaking the edges. So far, so good!

Where to start….Lot’s of new things happening with the band. We’ve been busy to say the least.  After a smoking summer in celebration of the new record, we’re already at work on new material!  The band has come along way, say hello to some and goodbye to others.  At this point, we seems to have a hit a good roll with the current lineup of myself (B), Shank, Whitt, and Marty.  After our second win at this year’s TUW Battle of the Bands in Charleston, we’re concentrating on writing material more collectively as a band which feels downright good.  We should have some clips up in the next few months for all you Petal Heads out there.  With Mitch Webb at the helm once again, we think y’all are gonna dig what’s around the corner.

In the meantime, we have a bunch of shows around the corner that we hope y’all will join us.  On October 13, we’ll be playing Wingapalooza at the Gaillard Auditorium in support of Eagle Harbor Ranch, a facility dedicated towards housing neglected and abused children.  Show starts at 5pm will SP leading off night.

Be sure to join us as we kick off the New Year at Home Team BBQ in West Ashley.  This show is in its infancy but we can assure you we’ll make it worth your while!!

7/26/10 SP is proud to announce Shank Wilson as the band’s new drummer.  Many of you may already have known or heard Shank over the years.   He has been a regular respected presence on the Charleston music scene and brings with him several years of groove driven experience.  Shank will be making his debut with the band on August 5, 2010 at the Windjammer.   Don’t miss out!

7/13/2010 Our friend and drummer for the past three years, Duck Reynolds, has departed the group and will be moving on to pursue other projects. We are grateful for his contribution to the group since its Charleston inception. SP wishes him the best.
